Damn I might have to pick this, up I missed the PS2 era Shinobi. The last one I played was Shinobi III wayyy back on the genesis
Crysis 2. I was a huge fan of the first game but the second game was just terrible.
I really hope sega takes their time with this one, if they're actually making it. Sonic adventure 1 and 2 were the last two great sonic games for me, and I've been saying for years they should just make a third, and don't rush development. (i.e, 1 year dev times like every sonic game since heroes.)
So i guess that rules out bringing back the rest of the cast from SC4 then...
Say what you want about the game, but those numbers are pretty impressive
I actually enjoy the challenge in MP3: it feels like a very traditional game in the sense it doesn't walk you around every corner. It does have a bit of a learning curve, thankfully it's a very entertaining experience.
"Problem with the intro: Tekken 6 is one of the most popular games world wide. Saying it lost its luster is admitting a lack of knowledge about the game."
Tekken is by far the most popular 3D fighting game worldwide; that's not to be disputed. However, saying its lost its luster would be an understatement. There's nothing really wrong with Tekken, or other fighters, it's just that we're no longer in the PS2 days. The industry has made a major shift towa...
I really commend Harada on maintaining his stance on (against) DLC characters in fighting games, and I agree with him completely. It may be considered traditional by today's standards, but buying a full game for $60 is becoming more genuine that most would care to admit. I just wish he could have had more influence over project soul in SCV. That game could have been sooo much better.
That racing seat setup looks better than the interior of most cars. XD
completely agree. The current killcam looks terrible.
@Chunkylover53
"but its stupid not to care about them at all." It's not stupid to not care about sales, it's called casual gaming. Max Payne 3 was received pretty good by the critics, and while it's not doing too well sales wise, it can still receive a sequel later on. Look at Far Cry, F.E.A.R, White Knight Cronicles or Demon's Souls. Didn't do great commercially (and some critically either) yet some of those games received one or more sequels si...
I don't really care how it sold, it's still fun as hell to play.
Same here, I just picked it up yesterday and can't seem to stop playing it since. R* did an excellent job porting the game; you'd almost think the PS360 versions were the ports themselves by how well it runs on PC. Excellent texture streaming, solid 60+ frame gameplay, and some of the best shadow-draw I've seen in a PC game. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly satisfied with this game thus far.
FYI, specs:

Heck I didn't participate in GT Academy either, and don't play GT5 as much now that I have my own car that I regularly take to the track :) But whenever I do go online there's still loads of people playing this game.
A pretty good article, a lot of points made that I'm sure many fans, including myself, agree with. As someone who enjoys the GT series primarily for its driving simulation, and not so much the other content, a livery editor, premium cars becoming "standard," improved engine noise and car lists are all warranted for inclusion into GT6.
My biggest Criticism with GT5 was it's lack of consistency. On paper, real-time Day-night Cycling, weather effects, a track ...
@THE_MACGREGOR
So that makes you, a wagon riding fan boy as well, yes?
...I think he kind of explained it with that sentence. The game runs at 30 frames but the physics engine and controller response is at 60 fps.
@Hicken The US isn't getting the 86, we're getting the FRS and BRZ. All three of these cars, FRS, 86 and BRZ are the SAME car. They have little minute differences but they're the same vehicle. Same engine, same architecture, almost same price. Other than available transmissions there's very little different between the models
I don't see how they're making the IP adapt to today's standards by alienating fans (and newcomers alike) with a protagonist that currently no one likes, nor asked for. And I don't think the current state of the series warrants a reboot. No one had a problem with the series until DMC4, where Dante wasn't featured as the main character. There isn't any reason they couldn't focus on the original Dante once again, and progress his story.
If they can make a significant improvement over GT5 to warrant another GT game within this generation, then go right ahead. I still don't see or understand what the "next generation" that some so do desire, will bring at this point other than better graphics.
